My name is Rachel Spitzer and this blog serves as a platform to share my adventures, trip reports and gear reviews.  Currently I live in Utah with my husband and work as a nurse at the University of Utah in the Burn Trauma ICU.  I work with really great people and love that I get to help people work through some of their most traumatic experiences while also utilizing critical thinking to provide care to patients in their most acute stage.  I have been climbing for over a decade and am frequently traveling the globe in search of aesthetic climbs and adventures.  I have learned so much about myself and established amazing friendships with my climbing partners whether we are just doing some mellow climbs in my backyard in the Wasatch or way up high in the French Alps.  Climbing and traveling have helped me grow as a person and help keep me engaged in the world and life in general.  My hope is that this blog can inspire others, provide information about places to go, and gear to use.  Please contact me for any additional questions.
